This is a found-footage piece which depicts various modes of transportation, especially planes, with familiar avant-garde approaches like reversing the footage, or showing it in negative imagery. The latter reminds me of Pat O’Neill’s By the Sea, in which an image in negative incites one to examine its contours that would only be brought out with abstraction. The visual playfulness is perhaps meant to illustrate the haywire proliferation of technology.
